 Can't rate; item arrived severely damaged |

I would have loved to had the oportunity to rate this item but the 37" Samsung TV arrived with the screen severely damaged from shipping. I refused delivery and called Amazon to report the problem and Amazon started case file to document the report and track the returned item. I was told that it would take about four weeks for the item to be retuned and a refund issued.
After three weeks, I called Amazon who called the shipping company. I was told that the returned item was still at the Albuquerque shipping warehouse after three weeks - the orignial destination was New York. Math question of the day: "If it takes three weeks for the returned TV to go 400 miles; how long will it take to ship the TV back to New York from Albuquerque?"
In all fairness, Amazon has been very responsive and the Amazon Representative, Amanda, was always pleasant,upbeat, and informative in handling my case. She also assured me that after four weeks a refund would be issued regardless of where the TV might be in the world. |

Base was cracked

| The TV ihas a great picture, but the base was cracked. It was not bad enough to return but I was disappointed that it is not "as new". The monitor is great otherwise. |

| My wife and I are so pleased we purchased this tv. We're not the types who randomly search around and just pick the lowest priced item either. We did our research and even went and talked with local retail stores selling the same product. For the money this tv does just as good as higher priced/latest version flat screens that are out there. It's rediculous to pay hundreds more for the same size and no difference in picture quality (but with "latest version" stamped on the box). I would recommend this tv to anyone. We currently use it in our bedroom and it's fantastic! |
